Started
working as Interpreter Trainer in 1978.
She opened these workshops in that same year, developing techniques for training interpreters. She holds the chair: Introducción a la interpretación at the Profesorado Nacional INES en Lenguas Vivas. She also holds the chairs: Interpretación Consecutiva and Interpretación Simultanea (Universidad del Museo Social Argentino) where she is head of the School of Modern Languages. Mrs. de Ortúzar has participated in the foundation of the School of Interpreters at Profesorado F. Montoya, Posadas, Misiones where she trained teachers and students. She has also been Visiting Professor at the Universidad de la Patagonia Austral, Río Gallegos where she acted as tutor in special translation programmes. |
